Displaying and Using your Web Service

The System is now built and understood by XPOR.  It's ready to use - well in the back end of XPOR at least!.  Now we need the Front-End Application, enabling your Users to do their work, as originally conceived.  Watch the video to see the XPOR System Modeller used to create the interactive forms for the Application;

Case Study

The goal of the OSV App is to enable Staff to suggest Off Site Visits and to take ownership of them.  They must complete them, to be adequate for Management to approve them.

Staff and Management (and Students) will see the Off Site Visits as they become relevant / appropriate.

Staff will be able to see the status of off site visits and what visits they are to assist with.  Staff will also be able to access the legacy of Off Site Visits, to re-use them as they feel appropriate to their Course / Lessons.

As People and Resources are allocated to an Off Site Visit each individual calendar is to be updated, to both alert the People invovled and avoid double-booking!

The completed OSV WebApp

So you now need to create the WebApp, an Interface for Users to open / log into - and create / manage new Suggested OSV's and see how the work on the Calendar.

So back to System Modeller to build those Interfaces. Then we will place them onto web pages, like this one, so they can be accessed via a browser, in the office, at home or on the visit itself - from PC, Tablet or even Phone.
